This will be their 22nd career meeting between Djokovic and Cilic. The Serbian legend holds a dominant 19-2 lead in their head-to-head record.
Cilic’s two victories against Djokovic came on indoor hard courts in the 2016 Paris Masters and on grass at the 2018 Queen’s Club. Their last encounter was in 2022, with Djokovic winning in straight sets in the Tel Aviv final.
