Wimbledon 2025: All you need to know about prize money & points on offer

Wimbledon 2025 sets new prize money record, with gender equality continuing across all events.
Wimbledon 2025 is set to commence on June 30, with the best players from each category set to take on each other. The draw is headlined by World No. 1 Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka. Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, 7-time winner Novak Djokovic, alongside top women’s seeds including Iga Świątek and Coco Gauff, lead a star-studded panel.
Former champions Elena Rybakina, Marketa Vondrousova, and defending champion Barbora Krejcikova are also participating in this year’s championship. The tournament continues its commitment to gender equality by offering equal prize money to both male and female players across all events.
The 2025 Championship has set a new record with a total prize fund of £53,550,000 (roughly ₹573 crores), marking a 7% increase from the £50 million (roughly ₹535 crores) awarded in 2024. The 2025 singles champion will each receive £3,000,000 (roughly ₹32.1 crore), which is 11.11% more than the amount earned by Alcaraz and Krejcikova last year.
This figure is nearly £1 million (roughly ₹10.7 crore) higher than what the 2025 French Open winners earned, based on current exchange rates. The runner-up will receive £1,520,000 (approx. ₹16.3 crores), which is 8.57% more than in 2024.
