The Tournament has been upgraded to WTA 500 event.

It began as a smaller WTA International event, changed to a WTA 125 tournament for a short time during the pandemic, and now it’s moving up to the top level. The 2024 tournament will have 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams competing at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center. Last year, Jessica Pegula won the singles title, while Marie Bouzkova and Bethanie Mattek-Sands took the doubles crown.

This year, however, Jessica Pegula will be missing the action, but the tournament still attracts top tier players like Daria Kasatkina, Liudmila Samsonova and Marta Kostyuk.
