Four-time Grand Slam champion Aryna Sabalenka continues to reign as World No. 1 in WTA rankings.
Success tastes sweetest when it comes after near misses. Aryna Sabalenka has been the most consistent performer on tour in the 2025 calendar, but a Major trophy had eluded her. That changed at Flushing Meadows, where she successfully defended her US Open crown. Check how the new updated WTA rankings look now.
Sabalenka continues to extend her dominance at the top of the ladder. The margin between Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff continues to remain slender, as both players defended their points from 2024, but were unable to advance any further.
Anisimova fell short of a Grand Slam title for the second consecutive time, but was rewarded for her hardwork and dedication with a career best ranking of #4.
Jessica Pegula, finalist here in 2024, suffered a defeat to Sabalenka in the semi-finals despite an impressive performance. As a result, she dropped out of the top-five rankings and finds herself at #7.
Naomi Osaka made massive gains, climbing to the 14th spot after reaching the semi-finals with wins over #3 Coco Gauff and Karolina Muchova.
Elena Rybakina is back into the top-10 rankings, after a consistent hard-court swing in America. Emma Navarro meanwhile left the top-10 rankings, falling to #18.
