Yuki Bhambri/Michael Venus vs Neal Skupski/Joe Salisbury Live Updates: US Open 2025 semi-finals

Hello and welcome to Khel Now’s live blog for Yuki Bhambri and Michael Venus’ semi-final match at US Open 2025. Please wait for the blog to load!

India’s No. 1 in doubles, Yuki Bhambri will eye a maiden final berth at Grand Slams when he lines up for his semi-finals match in the men’s doubles at US Open 2025.

Yuki and his doubles partner and Michael Venus will face Brit duo Neal Skupski/Joe Salisbury in the men’s doubles semi-finals on Thursday night (Friday in India).

Neal Skupski and Joe Salisbury are seeded sixth in the tournament while Bhambri-Venus are 14th seeds.

Earlier Bhambri made history by reaching the semi-finals, his first-ever semi-final appearance at Grand Slams.

The Indo-Kiwi pair defeated Rajeev Ram & Nikola Metkic in a hard-fought three-setter to advance from the quarter-finals.

Delhi-born Yuki also reached the quarters last year at Flushing Meadows partnering Albano Olivetti but had unlocked another level alongside Venus this year.

They defeated Ram-Mektic in 37 minutes to storm into the last-four stage of the US Open 2025.

India’s top men’s doubles player Yuki Bhambri marched into the quarter-finals at US Open 2025—the first time he has reached this stage at any Grand Slam event.

Partnering with Michael Venus of New Zealand, the Indo-Kiwi pair defeated the fourth-seeded German duo Tim Pütz and Kevin Krawietz, who were last season’s finalists, with a score of 6-4, 6-4 in just over 80 minutes.

Last year, Bhambri, paired with Frenchman Albano Olivetti, had reached the pre-quarterfinals at US Open. This year, the Indian made it to his best Grand Slam finish at the same court.

Earlier in the tournament, the veteran Rohan Bopanna, partnered with Romain Arneodo, made a first-round exit.

Similarly, the Indian duo of Anirudh Chandrasekar and Vijay Sundar Prashanth were defeated by Brazil’s Fernando Romboli and Australia’s John-Patrick Smith 4-6, 3-6 in second round.

With their exit, Yuki remains India’s only representative in the competition. The Indo-New Zealand pair will next face Croatia’s Nikola Mektic and American veteran Rajeev Ram in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.
