UFC will make history with a fight card at the White House!
The UFC is set to make history in June 2026 with UFC White House, a one-of-a-kind event that will take place on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C. Staged to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States, the card will mark the promotion’s first return to the capital since 2019 and its most ambitious venue to date.
Originally rumored for July 4th, the event was later moved to June for logistical reasons, with weigh-ins planned at the iconic Lincoln Memorial. The announcement first came from President Donald Trump during a rally in July 2025, before UFC CEO Dana White confirmed the plans a month later.
While Trump suggested up to 25,000 fans could attend, White clarified that fewer than 5,000 would be allowed on the White House lawn due to security. Instead, a nearby park will host over 85,000 spectators for a public viewing experience. With that, let’s look a some dream matches for the highly anticipated UFC White House card.
5. Amanda Nunes vs Kayla Harrison
Amanda Nunes’ retirement left a void in women’s MMA that only a special matchup could fill. Enter Kayla Harrison, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and former PFL star who is currently the UFC champion.
Nunes vs Harrison would pit the greatest female fighter of all time against perhaps the most decorated female athlete to have fought in the Octagon. On the White House lawn, this would be history in the making.

4. Islam Makhachev vs Ilia Topuria
For hardcore fans, this might be the best fight the UFC could possibly book. Islam Makhachev has carved his place as the most dominant lightweight on the planet, while Ilia Topuria has exploded onto the pound-for-pound scene with his featherweight title run.
Meeting at lightweight would be a clash of generational talent: Dagestan dominance versus Spanish-Georgian explosiveness. Skill-for-skill, this is as elite as MMA gets.
3. Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz 3
No rivalry has captivated casual audiences quite like McGregor vs Diaz. Their first two fights in 2016 created one of the UFC’s most iconic storylines, but the trilogy has never been completed.
The White House card would be the perfect setting for closure. McGregor remains the sport’s biggest star, and Diaz still commands cult hero status. Beyond the money and eyeballs, the fight has genuine unfinished business. Conor has already revealed that he will make his return at the White House event.
2. Ronda Rousey vs Holly Holm 2
Few moments in UFC history resonate like Ronda Rousey’s shocking knockout loss to Holly Holm in 2015. A rematch on the White House stage would be pure nostalgia while drawing massive mainstream interest.
The storyline writes itself: Rousey attempting redemption against the woman who ended her dominant reign. Casual fans, who first discovered the sport through Rousey’s meteoric rise, would flock back for this one.

1. Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall
If the UFC is truly going to the White House lawn, it needs the biggest possible fight in terms of athletic stakes. A heavyweight title showdown between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall is that fight.
Jones is widely considered the greatest fighter of all time, while Aspinall represents the future of the division and has already claimed interim gold. UK vs USA in the heavyweight spotlight would offer the perfect blend of legacy, national pride, and high drama.
When will UFC White House take place?
