Anshul Jubli is a huge Indian MMA sensation
Anshul Jubli is the first Indian fighter to make a major impact in the UFC and is preparing for a strong comeback at UFC 312 in Sydney, Australia.
After starting his UFC career with two strong victories, the lightweight prospect suffered a difficult defeat in his most recent bout against Mike Breeden.
Jubli talked about returning to the ring and how fighting requires a strong attitude, which he has been working on. He also claims he has never been in better shape and is ready to go.
Anshul Jubli returns this time with much-needed rehab and preparation as he recovers from his injuries before the fight. Reflecting on his upcoming battle, the 29-year-old stated that “he is physically ready and mentally prepared” after experiencing a series of delays, either due to injury or rescheduling.

Jubli said, “I have done two camps already this year, so I am physically fit completely… Now that I have a new opponent, I have to prepare for him specifically. Physically I am ready, I am at a stage where if you give me anyone at this point, I am ready to fight.”
Jubli on his UFC debut on October 2023 suffered a loss against Breeden at UFC 294. Jubli anticipated to glide to victory after dominating most of the bout, but he was caught off guard when Breeden delivered a clean hit to his head.
Devastated, he went to India and found support from his family and friends, who treated him equally and reminded him that the KO was merely a setback and a lesson to be learned.
Jubli now has his sights set on UFC 312, where he will meet Quillan Salkilld. This time, he’s focusing on being mentally sharp and injury-free as he looks to restore his winning streak. However, in order to do so, he needs to significantly improve his cardio.
He appeared exhausted heading into the third round of the Breeden bout, which may have led to his first loss in the promotion. Meanwhile, with Jubli vs. Salkilld confirmed, the UFC 312 event is gaining traction.
