Nina Drama could corner Tsarukyan in his next fight
Following his victory, Tsarukyan was asked whether Nina Drama and N3on would have to compete for a spot in his corner for his next fight.
Tsarukyan gave a straightforward answer: “Next one is Nina, that’s confirmed. She’ll be in the corner for the title fight. Yeah, if she wants to come. I haven’t talked to her, but I said that.”
He also joked about N3on’s potential future role, saying: “I needed three real cornermen. How’s N3on gonna feel about that? He’s gonna be sad. Khamzat maybe gonna take him.”
The comments came after Tsarukyan secured an important victory over Ruffy, stopping the seasoned striker with two powerful elbows to the temple in the first round.
The win strengthened Tsarukyan’s position at the top of the lightweight division, with Dana White confirming that he had earned a title opportunity against Justin Gaethje.
Gaethje, however, is currently sidelined after injuries suffered in his fight with Ilia Topuria and has indicated that he is targeting a return no earlier than early 2027. That means Tsarukyan has a confirmed title path, but the date and location of the fight remain unclear.
