The vacant Light Heavyweight title will be contested at UFC 327.
UFC returns to Miami with another explosive card, headlined by two Light Heavyweights looking to capture vacant gold. The Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, will host the upcoming UFC 327, headlined by former champion Jiri Prochazka and young contender Carlos Ulberg.
The two will collide with the vacant Light Heavyweight title on the line, as reigning champion Alexa Pereira vacated the title in February to move up a weight class and aim for the third UFC title.
Meanwhile, Jiri, who had to vacate the title in 2022 shortly after capturing it due to a severe shoulder injury, is looking to reclaim the title after failing twice against former Champion Pereira.
On the other hand, Ulberg, who is a City Kickboxing standout, wants to bring gold back to New Zealand and usher in a new era, continuing his string of impressive wins and keeping his nine-fight win streak intact. In his last outing in September, Ulberg starched former title challenger Dominick Reyes.
However, Jiri, who didn’t lose the title in competition, is also riding an impressive two-fight win streak, with finishes over former Champion Jamal Hill and former title challenger Khalil Roundtree.
The co-main event of the show will feature another Light Heavyweight showdown between Azamat Murzakanov and Paulo Costa. The rest of the card features established names like Curtis Blaydes, Dominick Reyes, Johnny Walker, Cub Swanson, Kevin Holland, Tatiana Suarez, and Kelvin Gastelum.
