The biggest star in the sport returns after 5 years away, headlining International Fight Week against an old rival.
Conor McGregor makes his long-awaited comeback to the Octagon at UFC 329, headlining against former featherweight champion Max Holloway in a welterweight rematch thirteen years in the making.
Set for Saturday, July 11, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, the card is the centrepiece of UFC’s annual International Fight Week and features fourteen fights across the main card, prelims, and early prelims.
This will be McGregor’s first appearance since he suffered a broken leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. He returns against a familiar face, having beaten Holloway by unanimous decision back in August 2013 in a featherweight bout early in both men’s UFC careers.
Since that night, both fighters have gone on to become two of the sport’s biggest stars, with Holloway now stepping up to welterweight for the first time to renew the rivalry.
The co-main event sees lightweight contenders Benoit Saint Denis and Paddy Pimblett collide in a three-round clash, with both men eyeing a shot at new champion Justin Gaethje. Elsewhere on the main card, elite bantamweights Cory Sandhagen and Mario Bautista square off, Lone’er Kavanagh meets Brandon Royval at flyweight, Terrance McKinney takes on King Green at lightweight, and former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker makes his light heavyweight debut against Nikita Krylov.
The prelims are headlined by Olympic wrestling gold medallist Gable Steveson, who makes his own UFC debut against Elisha Ellison.
