Two of the flyweight division’s finest collide in a highly anticipated rematch as UFC Vegas 119 goes down this Saturday at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
With the dust from UFC Freedom 250 at the White House barely settled, the machine rolls on as the action returns to the Meta APEX this Saturday for a Fight Night event headlined by a crucial flyweight contest.
No. 2-ranked flyweight contender Manel Kape will run it back with No. 5-ranked Kyoji Horiguchi atop the UFC Vegas 119 fight card on Saturday, June 20, 2026, streaming live on Paramount+ from the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The main event is more than just a top-five flyweight clash; it is a rematch nearly a decade in the making. Kape was submitted by Horiguchi in the final round of the Rizin Bantamweight World Grand Prix Tournament in late 2017. Since then, both fighters have taken drastically different paths to land back in the same cage.
Under the UFC banner, “Starboy” Kape has won seven of his last eight with five knockouts. As for Horiguchi, he rejoined the promotion late last year and has already racked up two straight wins.
Both men are among the best flyweights in the world, and the winner of Saturday’s main event could be in line for a shot at flyweight champion Joshua Van, who is expected to rematch Alexandre Pantoja next or, at minimum, firmly cement their position at the top of a turbulent division.
Kape enters as the favourite at -160, with Horiguchi coming in as the underdog at +135. In the co-main event, Ion Cutelaba squares off with unbeaten New Zealand prospect Navajo Stirling at light heavyweight.
The rest of the main card features Vinicius Oliveira against veteran Andre Fili, Murtazali Magomedov testing his perfect record against Melsik Baghdasaryan, and Hyder Amil meeting Christian Rodriguez in what is considered the most stylistically intriguing bout on paper.
