Salahdine Parnasse makes his highly anticipated UFC debut against veteran Dan Hooker in a lightweight main event at UFC Paris.
UFC returns to the Accor Arena for a fifth consecutive year, setting up a 14-fight card in the heart of the French capital with a home hero topping the bill.
Headlining the event is a lightweight clash between No. 12-ranked Dan Hooker and hometown favourite Salahdine Parnasse, who steps into the Octagon for the first time in his home city of Paris.
Hooker, a veteran of 24 previous UFC outings, arrives on the back of consecutive losses to Arman Tsarukyan and Benoit Saint Denis, and will look to use his experience and durability to halt his skid against the debutant.
Parnasse, a two-time KSW featherweight champion and former KSW lightweight champion, enters unbeaten in his last several outings and carries a 23-2 record into his promotional debut, having earned his contract after a first-round finish on the MVP MMA card in May.
The co-main portion of the card features a middleweight bout between former Bellator star Michael Page and Nursulton Ruziboev, while French lightweight Fares Ziam takes on Axel Sola in front of his home fans.
Also on the main card, featherweights Losene Keita and Muhammad Naimov square off, Morgan Charriere meets Felipe Lima, and Punahele Soriano moves up to welterweight to face Daniil Donchenko.
