UFC makes history as the White House hosts its first-ever MMA event.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship is set to make history on June 14, 2026, as the promotion stages its most ambitious event to date, UFC Freedom 250 live from the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C.
Timed to coincide with the 250th anniversary of American Independence and U.S. President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday, the card features two championship fights across a seven-bout main card.
Headlining the night is a lightweight title unification bout between reigning champion Ilia Topuria (17-0) and interim champion Justin Gaethje (27-5). Topuria, a two-division champion who has knocked out three consecutive future Hall of Famers en route to his path towards greatness, makes his first defence of the lightweight belt.
Gaethje, who secured his interim strap with a win over Paddy Pimblett at UFC 324, enters the fight knowing a loss could spell the end of his career at the top.
In the co-main event, former light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira (13-3) steps up to heavyweight to challenge Ciryl Gane (13-2) for the interim heavyweight title, as reigning champion Tom Aspinall remains out of action due to the eye injury against Gane at UFC 321.
A win would make Pereira the first three-division champion in UFC history and would set up the high-stakes showdown against Aspinall, while Gane wants to secure the interim strap once again and confirm another title shot, despite the controversial ending to his first meeting against Aspinall.
The undercard is equally stacked, featuring Sean O’Malley vs Aiemann Zahabi at bantamweight, Mauricio Ruffy vs Michael Chandler, and Diego Lopes vs Steve Garcia at bantamweight, lightweight, and featherweight, respectively, Bo Nickal vs Kyle Daukaus at middleweight, and a heavyweight clash between Derrick Lewis and Josh Hokit.
