UFC 307 is going to be interesting
The UFC heads to Salt Lake City for UFC 307, featuring a pair of title fights and a stacked card with some of the sport’s biggest names.
From the main event light heavyweight title fight to the undercard bouts, this event is filled with opportunities for bettors to make their picks. Let’s break down the betting odds for the key fights.
Main Event: Alex Pereira (c) -500 vs Khalil Rountree Jr. +375 (Light Heavyweight Title)
The reigning light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira enters UFC 307 as a massive favorite at -500. Khalil Rountree Jr. comes into this fight riding a five-fight winning streak, but at +375, he’s considered a heavy underdog.
Co-Main Event: Raquel Pennington (c) -170 vs Julianna Peña +145 (Women’s Bantamweight Title)
Raquel Pennington, the current bantamweight champion, is favoured at -170 to successfully defend her title. Pennington has been on a tear, riding a six-fight winning streak and winning the vacant title earlier this year.
However, Julianna Peña presents a real threat as an underdog at +145. Peña pulled off one of the biggest upsets in UFC history when she submitted Amanda Nunes for the title in 2021.
Mario Bautista -135 vs Jose Aldo +115 (Bantamweight)
Rising star Mario Bautista enters his fight against the legendary Jose Aldo as the slight favourite at -135. Jose Aldo, a former featherweight champion enters the fight as an underdog at +115.
Kevin Holland -170 vs Roman Dolidze +145 (Middleweights)
Kevin Holland comes into this middleweight clash as the favourite at -170. Roman Dolidze, the underdog at +145, has been a dangerous fighter with knockout power and improving grappling.
Kayla Harrison -900 vs Ketlen Vieira +600 (Women’s Bantamweights)
Kayla Harrison is the overwhelming favourite at -900, and for good reason. Harrison, a two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo, has been unstoppable in her MMA career.
A win here could set her up for bigger fights in the UFC. Ketlen Vieira, at +600, will be looking to pull off a miracle upset.
Joaquin Buckley -210 vs Stephen Thompson +175 (Welterweights)
Joaquin Buckley, the favourite at -210, is known for his highlight-reel knockouts and explosive striking. Thompson, the underdog at +175, remains one of the trickiest strikers in the welterweight division. His karate-based style could give Buckley problems.
