Liverpool’s Molly “Meatball” McCann (14-7) aims to bounce back against rising Brazilian Alexia Thainara (11-1). Thainara is was signed following her winning perfomance on Dana White’s Contender Series, and is considered one of the brightest Brazilian prospects this year.

Ireland’s Shauna Bannon (6-1) faces Indian prospect Puja Tomar (9-4) in a matchup showcasing emerging talent. Well-rounded Irish prospect Bannon makes her third walk to the Octagon and will seek to put together her first win streak. Tomar, a former Wushu world champion and pioneer in Indian women’s MMA, carries a nation’s support with her into her second UFC bout, following victory in her debut which made her both the first female Indian fighter signed to the UFC, and the first Indian to capture a win.
