The Indian men’s Volleyball team will face Iran in their second Pool B match at the AVC Men’s Volleyball Continental Championship 2026, eyeing a first win in the competition.
India were beaten in straight sets (3-0) by China in their tournament opener yesterday, although the contest was much closer than the scoreline suggests. Dragan Mihailovic’s side went down 21-25, 26-28, 25-27 to start their campaign with a defeat.
Up next for India are Iran, who at World No. 19, are the highest-ranked side in Pool B. They defeated New Zealand 25-15, 25-12, 25-22in their first match and sit atop the pool after the first round of matches.
