Ibrahim Moustafa Wrestling Series 2023: Squad, schedule & telecast details

Two Indians won medals in the first ranking tournament of the year earlier in Zagreb.

The 2023 Ibrahim Moustafa wrestling tournament is set to be held from 23-26 February in Alexandria, Egypt. This is the second-ranking series of the season with the first one held in Zagreb earlier this month. India for the second consecutive time will be fielding a second-string side with top wrestlers like Bajrang Punia, Ravi Kumar Dahiya, Vinesh Phogat, Deepak Punia, Anshu Malik, Sangeeta Phogat, and Sangita Mor all sitting out the event in Egypt.

U-23 World Champion, Aman Sehrawat (men’s 57kg freestyle) and Ashu (Greeco Roman 67kg) were the two medal winners in the first edition of the ranking series. Both Aman and Ashu clinched bronze medals.
