Bishkek Ranking Series 2023: List of Indian participants
Olympic medallist Ravi Kumar Dahiya is set to make his return after a brief period.
The Kyrgyz Republic's capital of Bishkek is home to a number of wrestling competitions known as the Bishkek Ranking Series. The United World Wrestling (UWW), the world's regulatory organisation for wrestling, is in charge of planning these competitions. Wrestlers from different nations have the chance to compete and collect ranking points in the Bishkek Ranking Series, which is used to decide their positions in the UWW global rankings.
The Bishkek Ranking Series tournaments follow the rules and weight classes set by UWW for each wrestling style, which include freestyle, Greco-Roman, and women's wrestling.
Top wrestlers from all over the globe compete in these events, and success there may have a big influence on a wrestler's worldwide standing and boost their chances of getting into prestigious contests like the World Championships and the Olympic Games.
