The Kyrgyz Republic's capital of Bishkek is home to a number of wrestling competitions known as the Bishkek Ranking Series. The United World Wrestling (UWW), the world's regulatory organisation for wrestling, is in charge of planning these competitions. Wrestlers from different nations have the chance to compete and collect ranking points in the Bishkek Ranking Series, which is used to decide their positions in the UWW global rankings.

The Bishkek Ranking Series tournaments follow the rules and weight classes set by UWW for each wrestling style, which include freestyle, Greco-Roman, and women's wrestling.
