India will sends a 30-member squad to World Wrestling Championships 2025.

Top wrestling stars from around the globe will gather under one roof for the World Wrestling Championships 2025 in Zagreb, Croatia, scheduled from September 13 to 21.

India will field a 30-member contingent, featuring some of the nation’s biggest names as well as rising talents. All eyes will be on Olympic bronze medallist Aman Sehrawat, who is returning to the big stage after his gold at the Ulaanbaatar Ranking Series.

India’s hope in women’s 53kg will be pinned on the Worlds bronze medallist Antim Panghal. The 20-year-old who bagged Asian bronze and two Ranking Series gold is seeded fourth.

Meanwhile, in the 92kg, the former Worlds silver medallist and reigning Asian silver medallist Deepak Punia will be carrying expectations.

The event will feature Olympic champions like Bahrain’s Akhmed Tazhudinov and Japan’s Kotaro Kiyooka and Motoki Sakura. Iran too is sending its powerhouses, Mohammadhadi Saravi and Saeid Esmaeili.

However, there will be a notable absence, as the Russian superstar Abdulrashid Sadulaev has been forced out due to visa troubles.

Greco-Roman: Anil Mor (55kg), Suraj (60kg), Sunny Kumar (63kg), Anil (67kg), Ankit Gulia (72kg), Aman (77kg), Rahul (82kg), Karan Kamboj (87kg), Nitesh Siwach (97kg), Sonu (130kg).

Women’s Wrestling: Ankush (50kg), Antim Panghal (53kg), Nishu (55kg), Tapsya Gahlawat (57kg), Sarika (59kg), Manisha Bhanwala (62kg), Vaishnavi Patil (65kg), Radhika Jaglan (68kg), Jyoti Berwal (72kg), Priya Malik (76kg).
