Top four matches WWE could announce at WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Press Event

WrestleMania is one of the grandest professional wrestling annual events of all time. This year’s event marks the 40th edition of WrestleMania, which is scheduled to be held for two nights April 6 and April 7, 2024 from the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.

With 60 days away from the grandest show, WWE has officially announced Wrestlemania 40 Kickoff on Thursday, February 8 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas from 4 PM Pacific Time. With that being said, we came out with four of the possible matches that could be announced at the WrestleMania XL Kickoff Press Conference.

4. Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins with CM Punk as Special Guest Host

Drew McIntyre has been looking to win his World Championship in front of the big live crowd as his two World Championship reigns were during the Thunderdome era. McIntyre has been punishing whoever tries to stop him from reaching his goal.

He might be given the shot for the World Heavyweight Championship title at WrestleMania XL straight with a namesake #1 Contender match at Elimination Chamber. Where WWE could add a stipulation with CM Punk as the Special Guest host for the match, which absolutely would make sense and set the hype for the contest.

3. Triple Threat Match- Roman Reigns vs The Rock vs Cody Rhodes

Since Rock vs Roman Reigns was teased, WWE fans have been spreading hatred for the bookings and demanding Cody Rhodes to be in the match. If WWE looks to fix this problem, WWE could announce a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania XL between Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and The Rock for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. This could turn things into a win-win situation.

2. Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins for World Heavyweight Championship

Cody Rhodes announced that he is not challenging Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. However he might make his decision at WrestleMania XL Kickoff, where he might challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL.

1. The Rock vs Roman Reigns (Tribal Combat Match)

WWE has officially announced that The Rock and Roman Reigns will have a face-off at the WrestleMania XL Kickoff show, which probably means that they are making the match official. WWE can still light the fire by announcing it as the Tribal Combat Match, where both the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and the Tribal Chief status will be defended on the line. The live announcement infront of the huge crowd will make a huge impact.
