The Viper has been out of action since May 2022

Randy Orton is one of the the most beloved WWE superstars and is considered as one of the best professional wrestlers of all time. The 14-time WWE Champion has not been seen on television since May 2022, after losing the WWE Raw tag Team Championship against The Usos. It was reported that Randy Orton has suffered from a Back injury and was said to undergo back fusion surgery.

Orton’s surgery has forced him to stay out of action for more than a year and there was no update on his medical conditions. However, his latest medical update has made the WWE fans worry about his future. So, what made the fans worry about Orton's medical conditions? When will The Viper make his return to WWE? Is Randy Orton Retiring? Here is the complete news of Randy Orton’s current status regarding his medical conditions and possibility of return.

What’s the News?

Bob Orton, Randy Orton’s father and a WWE Legend has recently spoke to Wrestle Binge’s Journalist Bill Apter, about the health condition of his son, Randy Orton. Bob said that Randy was advised by the doctors not to return to the ring and urged him to retire from wrestling.

But somehow, The Viper has started his training and if he feels like returning to the in-ring action, he will. Bob also said that he is highly concerned about Randy’s medical conditions and Randy has pretty well been taken care of. Although he started his training, Bob thinks he doesn’t need to get back to the in-ring action as doctors have advised him not to.

Orton has been going through training sessions and is recovering nicely. However, his condition is not quite good enough for an in-ring return. If doctors have told him not to return to the ring, it could be hard to see Randy Orton in the squared circle again. Having an ever cherishing career coming to an end at the age of 44 would be a modern day wrestling tragedy. Although if he wishes to return to the ring, it is not expected to happen sooner.
