WWE rumors: Roman Reigns' next challenger has been revealed?
Has Roman Reigns' next challenger been revealed? Our story on Roman Reigns revolves around the potential opponent "The Tribal Chief" is going to face after Money in the Bank for the WWE Universal Championship. Currently, Roman Reigns is set to team up with Solo Sikoa to face their cousins the twins, "The Usos" in a Bloodline Civil War at Money in The Bank.
But, virtually there has been zero news on when exactly would "The Head of the Table" will be next defending his Undisputed Universal Championship. With that being said, it looks now looks like Roman Reigns' next challenger is being teased.
As, following SmackDown this week, Bobby Lashley implied that he's coming for Roman Reigns and his Undisputed Championship. WWE's official Instagram page uploaded unaired footage from Jey Uso turning on Roman Reigns from SmackDown and Lashley would comment on the video by tagging Roman Reigns alongside a phone emoji.
Roman Reigns vs Bobby Lashley is a fresh feud for "The Head of the Table" and while they both had their share of fights and some small-time feuds but it would be interesting to see their chemistry with Reigns as hell and Lashley as a baby face.
With Roman Reigns not defending his Undisputed Universal Championship at Money in the Bank there is hope that he will be booked to defend the title at WWE Summerslam in August.
And WWE may wish to explore the option of a featured main event match between Roman Reigns and "The Almighty" Bobby Lashley.
Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa vs The Usos at Money in the Bank
Although Roman Reigns remains The Head of the Table, more and more tickets are becoming available by the week. Since WrestleMania, the gaps in The Bloodline have widened, and now Reigns will team up with Solo Sikoa against The Usos at WWE Money in the Bank.
When the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and Solo Sikoa initially teamed up, Jimmy and Jey's interference failed, allowing Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles at WWE Night of Champions. Since then, The Tribal Chief's iron fist has driven Jimmy over the line, as a Superkick to his elder relative has left the WWE Universe stunned.
With dissent in the ranks, Reigns insisted that Jey submit in order to maintain the authority of the famed wrestling family. Jey, on the other hand, did not follow suit, instead joining his brother in Superkicking The Head of the Table to officially evict themselves from The Bloodline.
