Over the years, there are multiple superstars who Vince McMahon loved and had the benefits of being his favorite. However there are also an equal number of superstars whom Vince McMahon legitimately hated. Here are the list of top 10 WWE superstars whom Vince McMahon hated.

10. Scott Stiener

Scott Stiener is one of the few wrestlers, who Vince McMahon had a healthy relation with in the earlier days and turned out to be the most hated relation after. Since Scott Steiner signed with WWE, he had a healthy relationship with Vince and it helped him to be booked in high profile matches and storylines. However, Vince got upset by his poor quality of work and decided not to feature him in the top-level matches again. This made a huge crack in their relationship and eventually made Steiner leave WWE in 2004.

Ever since Steiner left WWE, Vince never showed interest in him being back in the company, making Steiner work in other wrestling promotions like TNA Impact. Steiner had criticized Vince and his extended family publicly in the media whenever he got a chance. All his comments were appropriate, which made Vince ban him on every WWE event including the WWE Hall of Fame.

9. Cedric Alexander

The former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander is one of the talented wrestlers in WWE. Besides his in-ring talent, his relationship with Vince McMahon has made him struck in the lower cards. It all started when Cedric refused to follow a direct order from Vince. This made Vince unhappy and once tried to bury Cedric Alexander as much as possible in 2019 during a match with AJ Styles. Cedric was then never given a push and was never regular to the television. It is clear that Vince disliked Cedric Alexander and would never heal this rocky relationship.

8. Nailz

Nailz is a former WWE superstar who debuted in early 1990’s. This WWE character is an ex-prisoner who got abused in the prison by The Big Boss Man. He has one of the craziest stories in WWE history with Vince McMahon. This feud had gone extreme, when Nailz physically attacked Vince McMahon during a civil meeting. WWE veteran Bret Hart reported that the meet was so loud and had a sudden crash. He reported that Nailz knocked out Vince McMahon with the chair and choked him violently until he got pulled off by officials. Nailz then filed a complaint against Vince for a sexual approach. However, those charges were dropped and he got banned from WWE.

7. Rusev

I hope most of you have been surprised by Rusev’s name in this list. When Rusev debuted in WWE, he adopted a character of a Russian Brute who assaults people with hard punches and less verbs, which made fans dislike him at the initial stage. However his character showed charisma and fans started liking him for his “Rusev Day” gimmick. This character made him so popular among wrestling fans and made him a huge baby face. This made Vince McMahon upset and eventually made the working relationship sour. Rusev was unhappy with Vince McMahon and demanded for a release. As a result, WWE released him in 2020 as a part of a budget cut.

6. Randy Savage

“Macho Man” Randy Savage

The “Macho Man” Randy Savage was one of the popular wrestlers during the 1980’s and 1990’s. McMahon had a healthy relationship with Randy Savage during the 1980s. The relationship soon changed in the 1990's, where Vince McMahon saw Randy Savage as too old and wanted him to do commentary instead of wrestling. However, Macho Man was only in his 40’s and believed to wrestle for a few more years. Eventually, Randy Savage joined WCW over WWE in 1994, which made Vince angry and is believed that he got banned from WWE.

5. Dusty Rhodes

Since “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes joined WWE in 1989, Vince was never a fan of him. He always wanted to embarrass Dusty Rhodes as much as possible in every possible way. Although not being a favorite of Vince he marked his name in the WWE history. The WWE legend Dusty Rhodes has been a major part of the WWE management and has trained multiple WWE superstars. although it did not change the relationship with Vince.

4. Gail Kim

Former WWE superstar Gali Lim is one among those who was hated by Vince McMahon without an actual reason. It was reported that Vince was not a fan of her appearance and this dumped her opportunities from moving forward in WWE. She got released sooner and eventually spoke about Vince and she mentioned him to “Satan” at one point.

3. Cesaro

Cesaro is one of the most naturally talented superstars, however Vince McMahon disliked him as he doesn’t see him as a top star who could fill the company’s box office. Cesaro on Stone Cold’s podcast confirmed that Vince didn’t like him. Although Cesaro was given a certain push by WWE, he was immediately pulled off by losing the match against the big stars. This affected his top card dream in WWE.

2. Christian

Christian is one of the charismatic wrestlers in WWE, who is known for his impressive in-ring performances. Although Vince McMahon hated him as he was not a huge fan of his appearance. It was rumored that Vince had even wanted to cover his face with a blue dot on the screen to avoid seeing Christian’s face. This shows how legitimately Vince hates Christian both professionally and personally.

1. CM Punk

Some people never like each other no matter how good they are. This is the exact scenario in CM Punk’s case. Throughout his career, Vince McMahon never liked CM Punk and this has reflected on multiple public occasions. They both have a ton of controversial moments together, where it clearly portrays how both hated each other. One such moment included the pipe bomb by CM Punk in 2014 which shook the company the most, where he publicly roasted Vince McMahon and the company.

This made a huge talking point in the wrestling industry and a backdrop to Vince McMahon, as a result Vince released CM Punk in 2014 on his wedding day to ruin his happiest day. After release CM Punk was away from the wrestling industry for 7 long years and returned to wrestling in AEW. However, Vince showed no interest in bringing him back to the company.
