Is Brock Lesnar done with WWE for rest of 2023?

“The Beast Incarnate” is reportedly set to make his return soon in 2024
“The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar has delivered one of the best matches of the 2023 SummerSlam pay-per-view. He wrestled “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes with absolute domination and an ultimate showcase of power. Although the end result was not in his favor, the match became the talking point in the wrestling industry. After the loss, Lesnar came forward and offered a handshake, and hug as a showcase of respect, which was totally unexpected. Not only the segment that was unexpected, backstage reports on Lesnar’s status for the rest of 2023 is also unexpected.
Is SummerSlam the last appearance of Brock Lesnar in 2023?
“The Beast” signed a one year contract in WWE after WrestleMania 39. The contract states that Lesnar would compete for only five matches for a year. Since WrestleMania 39, Lesnar fought three matches in WWE, and all the three were against Cody Rhodes. The first match was at Backlash in Puerto Rico, where Lesnar lost to Cody Rhodes. The second match was at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, where he won. The third match was at SummerSlam in Detroit, where Cody won.
With three out of five matches done in the year, all the signs speculate that Lesnar will be taking a long rest from WWE, marking SummerSlam as the last match of Brock Lesnar in 2023. As per rumors, Brock Lesnar is expected to return to have his rest of the two matches on the road to WrestleMania 40, which is most probably to be held at Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 40.
Do not forget that Brock Lesnar had more active appearances in the weekly episodes this year than ever before, while actively wrestling on the live event. This has been so far the entertaining run of The Beast, where he hasn’t been added to any championship matches.
As of January 2024, Brock Lesnar is set to make his return soon and be a part of WWE WrestleMania 40.
