Jey Uso added to WWE Alumni Roster after 'Quitting'

After a massive betrayal by Jimmy, Jey Uso got frustrated and announced that he is out of WWE to end the latest episode of SmackDown. With fans confused over his departure, WWE moved him to the company’s Alumni roster.
On the main event of the August 11, 2023 episode of SmackDown, Jimmy explained his best why he cost Jey’s match at SummerSlam. Jimmy explained that he loves Jey and doesn’t want him to become the Tribal Chief as the power would make him corrupt and turn him into an “As***e” like Roman.
Jey was not convinced by his explanation and stood still, where Jimmy walked out with guilt. Jey then laid Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns down and Super-kicked Jimmy to announce that he is “Out, Out of The Bloodline, Out of SmackDown, Out of WWE.”
Jey Uso in the WWE’s Alumni roster
As Jey announced his departure, many wrestling fans on X (formerly Twitter) spotted Jey’s name in the Alumni roster. If you visit WWE’s official website WWE.com, and move to the roster page, search for Jey’s name in it. He will be in the alphabetical order “J” after Jessamyn Duke and Jessi Kamea and before Jillian Hall and Jim Cornette.
Although this is just for the purpose of the Bloodline storyline, this gained the attention of fans and has been a talking point on X. Jey is expected to miss the following week’s episode of SmackDown so does Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. As per rumors, the departure and Alumni thing is just to boost the storyline and drag the storyline until WrestleMania season. Although there are no near upcoming plans for The Bloodline, they might miss the upcoming pay-per-view Payback since none of them are advertised for the event.
As Jey’s name was found in the Alumni list, a lot of fans started spreading memes saying that Jey is said to join AEW and “Jey Uso is All Elite” and so on.
