News: LA Knight breaks major WWE record in July 2023

LA Knight is the name that is going viral around the wrestling industry, he is the recent sensation with an ever increasing fan base. LA Knight has been in WWE main roster since May 2022, where he debuted under the name Max Dupree as the manager of Maximum Male Models due to Vince’s decision considering his age. Yes, he is currently 40 years old. But, when the power went to Triple H’s hand he brought him back as a wrestler and with his in-ring LA Knight.

LA Knight hasn’t had a big match and has not featured in any kind of major feuds or championship matches, except a feud with Bray Wyatt in which he had a Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match at Royal Rumble and lost. Although he hasn’t been through any major accomplishments, his popularity with fans began increasing and they started backing him up on whatever he does and wherever he goes, despite being an on-screen villainous character. As a result of his increasing popularity, LA Knight broke a major WWE record in July, by leaving other top superstars behind.

What happened?

“The Mega Star” LA Knight has reportedly broken a major WWE record by becoming a top merchandise seller in July 2023. He tops the merchandise sales by surpassing some of the top WWE superstars including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Roman Reigns, The Usos and Cody Rhodes. Two months ago, LA Knight didn’t get featured in the Top 20 Merchandise sellers, but his increasing popularity among fans had helped him climb the ladder (not the MITB ladder) and find a spot into the Top 5 Merchandise sellers list in June.

Within a short span, he pulled down the leading sellers and became the No.1 seller in July. As per reports, LA Knight YEAH! T-Shirt and the Men’s Fanatics Branded LA KNight Logo T-Shirt is the top-selling merchandise. His items are bought 74 per day on an average and its reverse rank value is said to be 6219. As per speculations, his merchandise sales could go higher as a result of his increasing fanbase.
