WWE NXT is scheduled to take place at the Capitol Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, United States, as it is the primary location of the brand. NXT has booked multiple matches for the August 8, 2023 episode, so here is the complete preview and prediction of the show.

Mustafa Ali vs Axiom

The NXT North American Championship is in a great threat, since Wes Lee lost the championship to Dominik Mysterio. Before defending his championship against Dom, Wes Lee accepted Mustafa Ali’s challenge to defend it in a match. But before the match was scheduled, he lost the title to Dom. Ali became extremely upset with Wes Lee and claimed a shot, a triple threat match for the NXT North American Championship was announced between Dominik Mysterio, Mustafa Ali and Wes Lee at the Great American Bash. Where Dom retained championship by pinning Wes Lee once again.

Where Ali, who wasn’t pinned, claims a rematch for the title. On the other side Axiom Lee who failed to capture the NXT North American Championship, hasn’t had a rematch yet, so he claims a rematch for the title. Since both rushed to Dom for a rematch last week, they are said to have a one on one match today. Axiom is expected to win the match.

Naom Dar vs Tyler Bate

In October 2021, Naom Dar won the NXT UK Heritage Cup for the first time by defeating Tyler Bate with a 2-1 score at NXT UK. He lost it to Mark Coffey and regained it soon. Since, NXT UK got disbanded, the NXT UK Heritage Cup was brought to NXT and renamed to NXT Heritage Cup. Last week on NXT, Tyler Bate who he defeated to become the champion, challenged for a rematch after 2 years, which is said to happen this week. Naom Dar retaining the championship is likely to happen.

Bron Breakker vs Von Wagner

Bron Breakker has turned into a villainous character, since he lost his NXT Championship to Carmello Hayes. His anger issues and unexpected attacks have become a part of him. On the July 25 episode of NXT 2.0 Bron attacked Von Wagner with a spear. Last week  Bron sent a message to Wagner that went personal, mentioning his dad and his childhood. Now, they are said to go one on one this week, where Bron winning the match with a brutal attack is expected.

Dominik Mysterio vs Dragon Lee

Ever since Dominik won the NXT North American Champion, he has been the fighting champion and the workhorse of the company. He defends his championship every week on any of the three shows. Two weeks before, almost all the NXT stars were on SmackDown. Dragon Lee met Rey Mysterio and got permission to punish Dominik and take the NXT North American Championship. He then confronted Dom and asked for a match, which is said to occur this week. As Dom has Rhea on his corner, Dragon Lee is bringing Rey Mysterio to his corner. As per speculations, Dominik Mysterio retaining his championship is likely to happen.
