Here is a complete preview on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Match Cards & Predictions
John Cena Returns
The GOAT John Cena will return to SmackDown this friday night and is said to have a great segment with the microphone. He is expected to address the loss of Bray Wyatt and talk about what it’s gonna be with a full time schedule with the company. As per speculation, he might be interfered by either Grayson Waller or Austin Theory or both and might be a battle of words. The segment will end when Rey and Escobar went firing on them, to have a tag team match between them as Cena walks away.
Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar vs Grayson Waller & Austin Theory
Two weeks before, Rey Mysterio and Escobar were at the Grayson Waller Effect, where Waller told Rey that he is snatching the opportunities of young talents and snatched Escobar’s opportunity to become the United State Champion, which triggered them. Rey and Waller had a match last week and won, where Theory and Escobar were involved. This week they are said to take on Austin Theory and Grayson Waller in a tag team match. As per speculations, Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar are likely to win the match to make a statement ahead of Payback.
Jimmy Uso returns
As Paul Heyman said two weeks ago, Jimmy was said to return the past week. However, his segment was postponed to this week. Jimmy is expected to have a segment with the mic and address Jey’s departure. He might try to convince Jey on television to return to WWE, where Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa are likely to interfere. This could end up in a brawl or a brainwash session.
