Predictions
SummerSlam Battle Royal
As per speculations, SummerSlam Battle Royal would kick off the show, featuring multiple men (predicting to be 20) including Sheamus and LA Knight. The match could feature superstars from Raw, SmackDown and some Free Agents who have been off television since the 2023 Draft. LA Knight has a high chance to win the battle royal, setting-up the hype with a Yeah!. The match also has a chance to initiate a feud between Sheamus and LA Knight. Like LA Knight eliminating Sheamus for the win could be a perfect end for the match.
Ronda Rousey vs Shayna Baszler
Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler were friends for a long time as both knew each other since their MMA days. They developed a feud among them, when Shayna Baszler turned on Ronda Rousey costing their WWE Women’s Championships. Baszler claims that she is a better Mixed Martial Artist than Rousey and a series of attacks made WWE book this match for SummerSlam. The Battle between the two former Mixed Martial Artists could be held similar to a MMA kind of a match, where Rousey is expected to win the match most probably by submission.
Intercontinental Championship Match- Gunther (C) vs Drew McIntyre
Gunther has been on an undefeated streak since his main roster debut and is the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of the 21st Century. He dominated every opponent that stepped in front of him, including his opponent for the Summerslam Drew McIntyre. Gunther and McIntyre had a match at WrestleMania 39 for the Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat match involving Sheamus, where Gunther pinned McIntyre for the win. So this is a rematch for McIntyre and is the first one-on-one match with Gunther. The dominant return of the Scottish Warrior and the way the feud has been built could result in a serious threat to the Ring General and his championship reign.
As per speculations, Matt Riddle is likely to interfere during the match against Gunther, but could backfire and cost McIntyre the championship opportunity. After the match, McIntyre would turn heel by brutally attacking Matt Riddle.

Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus
Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus were on the same page until Stratus turned on Becky after losing the WWE Women’s Championship. Becky and Trish had their match at Night of Champions, where Zoey Stark attacked Lynch and made Trish win. Trish refused to have a rematch against Lynch and put Zoey forward instead of her. She laid stipulations for Lynch to have a match at SummerSlam and finally is said to have a rematch at SummerSlam.
As per rumors, Lita is about to return during the match to take revenge on Trish Stratus and assist Lynch for the win.
Ricochet vs Logan Paul
Ricochet and Logan Paul have been brawling since Royal Rumble, where they collided with each other in a mid air clothesline. After months they participated in the Money in the Bank Ladder match where Ricochet threw Logan Paul through two tables by a Springboard Spanish Fly. Their feud reached a point where both started throwing serious blows on each other backstage the same night.
As a result, Ricochet challenged Logan for a match at SummerSlam the following night on Raw and asked him to answer his challenge. Logan returned and denied his challenge, but after Ricochet’s attack he accepted the match. As per rumors, Logan Paul is likely to win the match by defeating Ricochet, marking the second win for Logan Paul in WWE.
WWE Women’s Championship- Triple Threat Match
WWE Women’s Championship is in a serious threat from the moment it was unveiled, as the 14 time champ, Charlotte Flair and the longest women’s champion Bianca Belair has been fighting to make the championship their asset. Both demanded a one-on-one match for the championship but both ended in a disqualification, resulting in a Triple Threat Match at SummerSlam.
This match has a potential to be one of the highlights of the evening, showcasing extreme fights as triple threat rules involve No Disqualification. As per rumors, IYO SKY cashing-in her Money in the Bank contract to become the WWE Women’s Championship could be a possible finish for the match.

World Heavyweight Championship Match- Seth Rollins (C) vs Finn Balor
The Judgement Day has been a major threat for the World Heavyweight Champion as every member of the stable started punishing Rollins since day one of his championship reign. Rollins successfully defeated his champion against all the three men’s wrestlers with ease. But now the advantage is likely to be on the Judgement Day side, as Balor challenges for the title shot, Priest waits with the briefcase to cash it in.
As per speculations, there will be a high involvement of Judgement Day members. Despite interference, Seth Rollins is likely to retain his championship once again.
Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar
Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar in a rubber match is one of the high profile matches of the evening. They have been in a brutal war since Raw after WrestleMania, by tearing skin and breaking bones on the previous brawl. Both have an 1-1 win on their side, which brought to the deciding rubber match at SummerSlam. As per rumors and speculations, Cody Rhodes is likely to win the match after a hard fight, ending the feud with a 2-1 lead. This win could make him remain in the top spot to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship in near future.
Tribal Combat Match
The crack inside The Bloodline has reached a point where The Usos got split from The Bloodline and ended Roman Reigns undefeated streak at the Money in the Bank. After getting pinned by Jey Uso, Roman Reigns was put to a trial on the Tribal Court resulting in a brutal attack on The Usos by Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Jimmy got injured after the brutality of Roman and Solo and was admitted for medical attention. Meanwhile Jey returned on Jimmy’s behalf and challenged Roman to a match at SummerSlam. Which eventually turned into a Tribal Combat Match, where both the Universal Championship and the Tribal Chief status is defended on the line.
As per speculations, Roman Reigns is likely to retain the championship and remain as the Tribal Chief. Post match, Reigns could find out his next opponent by a returning major star from the Samoan family.
