SummerSlam 2023 has been a great event and has featured multiple twists and turns. They featured a lot of good matches, which has been a visual treat for the WWE fans. The Pay Per View featured some of the top stars in the business, who delivered a top notch battle for the fans. However, some of the top stars are said to miss the WWE television for a period of time, as they are likely to take their time off from WWE following SummerSlam 2023.

Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey had a “MMA Rules” match against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam 2023. She lost the match by Technical Knockout (TKO), as Shayna made Rousey sleep with the Rear Neck Choke. It was revealed that it was the final match of Rousey before her time off from WWE, as she is willing to pursue her interests in acting. The match at SummerSlam, is just a namesake match to help Shayna’s professional career to progress.

Brock Lesnar

The Beast Incarnate has been in WWE for a longer period of time and has been consistent to WWE television in recent times. Although he took a break between episodes and pay-per-views, he returned soon. It is speculated that Brock Lesnar would take a long break from WWE, and could return on the road to WrestleMania 40. He might possibly return at Royal Rumble 2024 and would develop a feud against a champion, most probably Gunther and have a match at WrestleMania.

Charlotte Flair

“The Queen” has been on and off of television since the last few years, she is constantly surrounded by the championship spotlight. She returned a couple of months ago and challenged Asuka for the WWE Women’s Championship straight away. She lost the one on one match at Money in the Bank and failed to capture the championship in a Triple Threat Match at SummerSlam. She is likely to take time off from WWE briefly and would return after months. It is reported that Charlotte is focusing on stepping into a career in bodybuilding and is training for the same.

Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair has been a workhorse of the company since her debut, she has never taken her time off from WWE. However “The EST” is likely to take her time off from WWE as a result of a leg injury during the WWE Women’s Championship Match at SummerSlam, where she landed on the steel stairs. Although she won the championship with the injured leg, the injury played a major role in losing the title to IYO SKY. She is likely to return after clearing her injured leg and will be away from television until cleared.

Logan Paul

Logan Paul signed a multi-million dollar contract with WWE as a part timer. He wrestles only on the biggest pay-per-views and takes his time off from the wrestling ring. As no major events are planned for the second half of the year following SummerSlam, he is likely to be away from television until the next big event, most probably at Royal Rumble 2024.
