Why Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus will not featured at SummerSlam?

The match has been removed from the match card
Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus have been battling for months since they lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, where Trish turned heel and attacked Lynch. She explained her point by stating her frustration with Lynch, and not treated in a proper way as she built the women’s division in WWE. She claims that she should be thankful for Trish by saying “Thankyou Trish” as she is the reason for the women’s revolution, of which Becky is enjoying the privilege. Trish went personal by insulting Lynch’s daughter, resulting in a match at Night of Champions, where Trish won after the interference by Zoey Stark, who attacked Becky with Z360 and joined hands with Trish.
Lynch demanded a rematch with Trish, but Trish refused her challenge, instead laid a stipulation to have a rematch in future. Where Lynch is said to go one on one with Zoey Stark, if Lynch lost she should say “Thankyou Trish” and should tattoo it on her chest. But if Lynch wins she would face Trish in future. The match is highly rumored to take place at SummerSlam but the plan was changed at the last minute. What is the reason behind the sudden removal of the match card from SummerSlam?
Reason behind the Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus Match removal
Last Match in home Country
As most of us know, Trish Stratus has already announced her first retirement in 2006 at her hometown Toronto, Canada. As, WWE is said to tour Canada in the following weeks, thus Trish Stratus vs Becky Lynch is removed out from SummerSlam’s match card and booked in the tour instead. As Canada is the home country of Trish, having her last match there could be an absolute tribute for her, as Trish is said to retire on the August 14th episode of Raw at Winnipeg, Manitoba.
SummerSlam 2023 is stacked with Matches
Another reason to remove the match from SummerSlam could be the massive match bookings. The event features a total of 8 matches, where even the World Women’s Championship, Undisputed Tag Team Championship and United States Championship Matches wouldn’t be able to fit in. So Trish vs Becky’s match might be postponed two weeks from the United States to Canada.
