Roman Reigns reacts to The Rock’s return speculations ahead of SummerSlam 2023
It has been rumored for so long that “The People’s Champ” The Rock would return to WWE and dethrone Roman Reigns. The rumors have been viral on social media that The Rock might return at SummerSlam 2023. As the countdown for the 2023 SummerSlam started ticking, multiple hints teasing The Rock started circulating around to strengthen the hope.
Including Grayson Waller’s heated argument with the Rock on Twitter, Waller’s People’s elbow attempt on Jey Uso with Roman Reigns around. It was rumored that The Rock could return and have an impromptu match with Grayson Waller, on the other side it is said that he would interfere during the Tribal Combat Match to help Jey Uso become “The New Tribal Chief”. With rumors spreading all around, Roman Reigns reacted to The Rock’s return speculations on his recent interview.
What did Roman Reigns’ said about The Rock?
Ahead of the Tribal Combat Match with Jey Uso at The SummerSlam 2023, Roman Reigns and his Wise Man Paul Heyman showed up to an interview with ESPN’s First Take. Where Roman Reigns was asked, Is there anybody you think can take this from you? What if The Rock decides to return and goes up against you?
He replied, “We don’t see it, no”, and explained that for the last one and a half years, opponents from everywhere, including Brock Lesnar and John Cena, who came from Hollywood, and Logan Paul, who came from other sports were unsuccessful in dethroning him. He also said, “It doesn’t matter anymore. Head and Shoulders above everybody. It’s not funny anymore”.
He also announced that everybody from the Anoa’i Dynasty will be in the arena for the Tribal Combat match between him and his cousin Jey Uso.
Does everybody from the Anoa’i Dynasty include The Rock too? Will the rumors be true? It is still unclear whether “The Greatest One” will be in the arena or not? We should wait until August 5, 2023 for the SummerSlam 2023 to find out.
