Cody Rhodes tops WWE Payback merchandise sales over John Cena & LA Knight

The 2023 WWE Payback was one of the most successful events of the year with some great matches and segments. Not to forget, this is the first time John Cena hosted a premium live event, which carried a great hype for the show. Despite Cena carrying a great hype for the event, he didn't top the merchandise sales at Payback.
Payback Merchandise Sales
As per Fightful Select's report, Cody Rhodes topped the merchandise sales for Payback. He sold the most non-generic merchandise at the event in Pittsburg, thereby topping the sales, making "the host" Cena rank 2nd and "The Megastar" LA Knight 3rd. The outlet reported that this is very rare, as whenever a new merch of John Cena is launched it will be the hot seller, especially when the old items are dropped.
Fightful reported that the generic merchandise such as WWE branded & Payback branded merchandise and belts. Where La Knight's merchandise had best online sales, but the company has made it more available at the live events.
It is worth noting that "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes had not wrestled at Payback, but featured in the Grayson Waller Effect for a brief interview. LA Knight was the leading merchandise sale of the previous month and had a successful match against the "A-lister" The Miz with Cena as Special guest referee, and got endorsed by John Cena after the match.
Ever since Cody Rhodes returned to WWE, he has been a top contender for merchandise sales. Some of the products of Cody that are mostly sold are Cody Rhodes' T-Shirt, Lifting belt, "Claim your Kingdom" T-Shirt and signed photograph. Cena added his new Light Blue, Orange T-shirt with and Adjustable hat. LA Knight has introduced "Let Me Talk To Ya!" T shirt with him in the mic.
