Dominik Mysterio set to face Carmelo Hayes in Champion vs Champion match

Dominik Mysterio is one of the youngest talents and is a great heel of the company. He has developed feuds with stars of all the three brands of WWE. Now he adds one more to his feud list.
Dominik Mysterio is one of the most known faces in WWE since his childhood. Dom made his professional wrestling debut 2019 and has been wrestling along with his father for a while. He has been in his dad's shadow for a while, but soon turned on his father and joined Judgment Day to become the greater heel.
Since turning heel, Dom has improved his in-ring skills and became one of the undeniable talents of the company. He started interfering in feuds with almost every baby face of the company and it certainly helped him to win his first singles championship.
Being surrounded by feuds from all the corners, Dominik adds one more to the list on the latest episode of NXT which leads to a Champion vs Champion match next week.
Champion vs Champion
The NXT North American Champion is all set to face Mustafa Ali at NXT No Mercy with the championship on the line after he made Ali win the #1 Contenders match by fast count being the special guest referee. With that Dominik appeared on a backstage segment this week on NXT, where he met "Him" the NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes.
Where Melo and Dom had a disagreement on who remains as Champion after No Mercy. Melo said that Dom is "not cut like that" to remain as the champion after No Mercy. Dom said that he is the A Champion, which Melo claimed during his reign.
Hayes came up with an idea to put his words to the test by challenging him for a match next week. The match was later confirmed for next week. Although the match was promoted as Champion vs Champion, it is a non-title match. The 26-year-old vs the 29-year-old is expected to be a great contest and a visual treat to the fans.
Dom's current feud
Dom has been in feud with a number of wrestlers in all the three brands including Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Raquel Rodriguez in Raw. Montez Ford, and Angelo Dawkins in SmackDown. Dragon Lee, Mustafa Ali and Carmelo Hayes in NXT.
