WWE planning major reunion for NXT No Mercy

Butch is one of the young and talented professional wrestlers of WWE. He had a second longest reign as the NXT UK Champion and former NXT Tag Team Champion. Although Butch is primarily set to appear on the SmackDown brand, he was invited to participate in the NXT Global Heritage Invitational Tournament. He represented England and won the Heritage Invitation Tournament to face Naom Dar for the NXT Global Heritage Cup Tournament.
On the other hand, Naom Dar has been using dirty tricks and the help of Meta-Four to retain his NXT Heritage Cup. As Naom Dar has Meta-Four on his corner, Butch plans to bring his former British Strong Style member on his side.
British Strong Style
Ahead of his NXT Global Heritage Cup match at NXT No Mercy this Saturday, Butch wrote on X (Twitter) that he got a backup to counter Meta-Four.
Butch on X (Twitter),
“I need a second at No Mercy Saturday. @noamdar is gonna have all of the meta-four out there so I’ve asked an old mate to watch my back. Someone who knows Noam and Heritage Cup rules pretty well.
BSS one night only
Probably.”
He shared a picture of his former British Strong Style teammate Tyler Bate. Butch (fka Pete Dunne) while wrestling for NXT UK was in a tag team alliance with Tyler Bate and Trent Seven dubbed under the name British Strong Style. Bate will be on the ringside to support Butch, as his Brawling Brute leader Sheamus is away from television due to injury.
Tyler Bate & Noam Dar
Tyler Bate and Naom Dar already have a back history over the NXT Global Heritage Cup, where Bate won the NXT Heritage Cup, but Dar stated that was a replica of the original and brought the cup back. They had a rematch where Dar defeated Bate, with the help of Meta-Four. Will the reunion of the British Strong Style favor Butch? We need to wait and watch.
