The September 12, 2023 episode of WWE NXT will be aired live from WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, United States. Four matches has been confirmed for the show including a championship main event, #1 Contender’s match and the continuation of the Global Heritage Cup Invitational tournament. NXT Women’s Championship
Tiffany Stratton won the NXT Women’s Championship and came for a championship celebration where she claimed that she will be the greatest NXT Women’s Champion ever by mentioning former champions name including Becky Lynch.
But Becky took it to X (twitter) and said that she has never won the NXT Women’s Championship. To which Tiff met Becky Backstage, where Becky said that she has an eye on her on the past week’s successful defense. After the match, Becky appeared on the screen and challenged her for the championship match this week. Becky and Trish had a contract signing on Raw and the match was made official for this week’s NXT.
As per rumors, Becky Lynch will end Tiffany Stratton’s title reign and capture the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time.
#1 Contender’s Match- Ilja Dragunav vs Wes Lee
Ilja Dragunav and Wes Lee will be going one-on-one in the NXT Championship #1 Contender’s match this week. Both had a match for the NXT Championship against Carmelo Hayes and failed to capture the title after a hard fight. They two will now battle against each other to face Hayes for a rematch at No Mercy.
As per speculations, the match will end in a no contest and both will challenge Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship at No Mercy in a Triple Threat Match.
Group A: NXT Global Heritage Cup Invitational- Tyler Bate vs Axiom
The NXT Global Heritage Tournament continues this week where Tyler Bate representing England and Axiom representing Spain will be battling to climb up in the points table to face Naom Dar for the NXT Global Heritage Cup at NXT No Mercy.
As per speculations, Tyler Bate will win the match.
Group B: NXT Global Heritage Cup Invitational- Nathan Frazer vs Akira Tozawa
In the Group B of the NXT Global Heritage Cup Invitational, Nathan Frazer representing Jersey Isands and Akira Tozawa representing Japan will be squaring off to climb the points table after suffering a defeat in the previous match.
As per speculations, Nathan Frazer will win the match.
