There is a perception that Wrestlers should be tall, masculine, massive in size and gigantic in looks. But there are a number of superstars who have achieved success without these criteria. So here are some of the superstars who have broken the stereotype and made a clear statement that height doesn't matter to reach heights. 10. Funaki - 5’7”
Shoichi “Sho'' Funaki is a Japanese Professional Wrestler and Color Commentator. Funaki has been wrestling for WWE from 1998 - 2010. Funaki has won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and WWE Hardcore Championship once. He is currently working as the Japanese Commentator for WWE.
9. Jamie Noble - 5’7”
James Gibson is an American retired professional wrestler, who is known by his ring name Jamie Noble. He is one of the shortest wrestlers in WWE with a height of 5 foot 7 inches tall. He made his WWE debut in 2002 on an episode of SmackDown attacking The Hurricane.
He has won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Jamie Noble has been in an angle where he gets easily defeated as a punishment for disrespecting Vickie Guerrero. He retired from pro-wrestling in 2009 after a sustained back injury. Jamie Noble then became a producer in WWE and also has the security for Seth Rollins with Joey Mercury and is known as J&J Security. Jamie Noble is currently signed with WWE and is working as a producer backstage.
8. Rey Mysterio - 5’6”
Oscar Gutierrez, most popularly known under his pro-wrestling name Rey Mysterio. Rey is a masked luchador, former World Champion, WWE Hall of Famer. He is probably the only shortest world champion in the list. Rey was signed with WWE in 2002 and made his debut on the SmackDown roster. He formed a Tag Team alliance with Edge and won the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Over the years, Rey Mysterio has won WWE Championship (once), World Heavyweight Championship (twice) WWE Cruiserweight Championship (thrice), WWE Intercontinental Championship (twice), WWE United States Championship (thrice), WWE Tag Team Championship (4 times), WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship (4 times). He also won the 2006 Royal Rumble. He is the 21st Triple Crown Champion and 21st Grand Slam Champion. He is inducted into the Hall of Fame 2023 and his now leading a stable Lucha World Order (LWO) in the SmackDown brand.
7. Kalisto - 5’6”
Emanuel Alejandro Rodriguez is a Mexican-American Professional Wrestler, best known as Kalisto in WWE. He stands at a height of 5 foot 6 inches tall, being one of the shortest wrestlers in WWE. Kalisto is a luchador wrestler, who wrestles with a mask. He got signed with WWE in 2013 as a part of NXT and was known for his high flying capabilities.
Kalisto then formed a stable with Sin Cara named “The Lucha Dragons” and was called for a Main roster debut in 2015. Kalisto has won the United States Championship title in 2015 and WWE Cruiserweight Championship in 2017. Kalisto formed an alliance with fellow luchadors Gran Metalik. Lince Dorado in the name of “Lucha House Part” and appeared in both Raw and SmackDown roster. He was then released by WWE in 2021 after working 8 years for the company.
6. Lio Rush - 5’6”
Leonel Gerard Green, better known under his ring name Lio Rush is an American Professional Wrestler. He is one of the smallest wrestlers in WWE with a height of 5 foot 6 inches tall. He made his WWE debut in 2017 to work for the developmental brand of NXT and later became a part of 205 Live and captured the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
Eventually he became the manager of Bobby Lashley and helped him to win the Intercontinental Championship. Lio Rush was removed from the main roster for disrespecting Veterans of WWE. He then returned to NXT and won the NXT Cruiserweight Championship and lost after days. He then got released by WWE during COVID-19 pandemic.
5. Drake Maverick - 5’4”
James Michael Curtin is an English Professional Wrestler, best known in WWE as Drake Maverik. He is one of the shortest wrestlers in WWE, standing at a height of 5 foot 4 inches. Drake Maverik signed with WWE in 2017 and has been the new General Manager of WWE 205 Live. He was also the manager of Authors of Pain (AOP) & EC3. He was well known for his 24/7 Championship chase on Raw. Drake has won the WWE 24/7 Championship 8 times and is now working as a part of the creative team backstage.
4. El Torito - 4’5”
Mascarita Dorada is a Mexican Luchador Wrestler, who has worked for WWE under the ring name El Torito. He is one of the shortest wrestlers to step in the WWE ring, standing at a height of 4 foot 5 inches tall. He made his WWE debut in 2013 as the mascot of los Matadores with a Bull Mask. He had also entered the Royal Rumble Match in 2014. El Torito had a feud with 3MB, Hornswoggle and the Dudley Boyz. He then was out of in-ring action and was only seen on the backstage segments. He got released from WWE in 2016 along with other wrestlers.

3. Hornswoggle - 4’4”
Dylan Mark Postl is an American Professional Wrestler, popularly known by his WWE ring name Hornswoggle. He is the third shortest wrestler in WWE, with a height of 4 feet 5 inches. He made his WWE debut in 2006 on an episode of SmackDown as a partner of Finlay. Hornswoggle helped Finlay to win the WWE United States Championship.
Finlay had a feud and alliance with some of the popular stars of WWE over years. Hornswoggle also won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. He also was in a storyline as Vince McMahon’s illegitimate son during 2007 and 2008. Hornswoggle had alliances with DX, 3MB, John Cena and Sheamus. He is one of the funniest wrestlers in WWE.
2. Dink the Clown - 4’
Dink the Clown or Claude Giroux is a Canadian born Midget Wrestler, he is the second shortest WWE Wrestler of All time with a height of 4 feet. Dink worked with WWE from 1993 to 1994, he is the sidekick of Doink the Clown. Doink got Dink as a gift from Santa Claus on WWF Superstars of Wrestling. He accompanied Doink to the ring with clown antics. They both had a tag match at WrestleMania X, and at Survivor Series in the Team Clowns vs Team Kings match.
1. Max Mini/ Tzuki - 3’7”
Tzuki is a Mexican Wrestler, who has worked for WWF (now WWE) during late 1990’s and between 2005 - 2006, under the ring name Max Mini. He is the shortest WWE Wrestler of all time, with a height of 3 foot 7 inches. He made multiple appearances in both Raw and SmackDown with a mask, as a luchador. He wrestled mini tag team matches in Raw, appeared for Royal Rumble in 1998, wrestled in Juniors Divisions, etc.
