Top five WWE superstars who visited India for Wrestling events

WWE Superstars are in India for the exciting house show Superstar Spectacle, which will be held on September 8, 2023 (Friday) at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium Hyderabad. As most of the wrestlers came to India to perform in front of the WWE Universe in India, here we list the top five WWE Superstars, who visited India for wrestling events.
5. Kane
Kane visited India for the first time in 2002 as a part of WWE Raw Tour of India. Kane had two matches on his Indian debut tour. On November 22, Kane had a match against Test at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. On November 24 Kane faced Chris Jericho in a single's match at Palace Grounds in Bangalore.
4. Bret Hart
Bret "The Hitman" Hart came to India on the first ever India tour of WWE in 1996. The tour was named "WWF Tour of India" which was held at Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai. Where Bret Hart successfully defended his WWF World Heavyweight Championship against Tantaka in the main event of the show.
3. Triple H
Triple H visited India in 2017 and wrestled in a match against the WWE Champion Jinder Mahal in a non-title singles match, where Triple H won the match at the main event. The event was named WWE Live India Supershow, which was held at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.
2. Roman Reigns

"The Big Dog" Roman Reigns visited India in 2016 as a part of WWE Live Tour of India 2016. It is a two night event held at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. Roman Reigns main evented both night 1 and night two of the event. Where on Night 1 he faced Big Show and on Night 2 he faced Rusev, in which he won both.
1. John Cena
John Cena visited India on various occasions, but he wrestled his first match in 2023 as a part of WWE Superstar Spectacle held on September 8 in Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad. Where John Cena teamed up with Seth Rollins and faced Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci of Imperium. The match main evented the show and the 16 time champ won. This is the first match of Cena in India in his 20-year-long career.
