Watch: TKO releases exciting video package for WWE-UFC merger

In April 2023, 'UFC's parent company Endeavor reached a deal to merge WWE and UFC under the same umbrella, by forming a new company “TKO”. Since then WWE has been in discussion with Endeavor negotiating the deal. WWE finally agreed to sell 51% of its share to Endeavor, by holding the rest 49%. It marks the first time McMahon has had less authority over the shares.
Following the agreement, they filed the documents in the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (USSEC) and came out with a 11 member Board, where McMahon will have 5 members on it, in which 4 members are already being announced.
Based on the deal, six members of the board are selected from the Endeavor side and five members from the WWE side. From WWE's side two will be from the Management side (including Mr. McMahon) and three will be independent. From Endeavor, three will be from the management side (including Mr. Emanuel) and three will be independent.
TKO launched
As the deal was expected to be closed sooner in September, The WWE-UFC merger is officially done, as the TKO Group was formed and listed in the NYSE earlier today. All the board members and WWE’s Chief Creative Officer Triple H, Bianca Belair and Montez Ford attended the launching event of TKO with a TKO Championship belt.
As a result of listing the TKO Group in the NYSE, two massive Championship belts of UFC and WWE were kept outside the NYSE building and the merger has officially released a hype video package on social media. The video features stars of UFC and WWE. From WWE’s side Becky Lynch, Logan Paul, John Cena, Bianca Belair, and Jey Uso.
With the launch of TKO Group, tonight’s NXT episode marks the first show under the TKO. However there are multiple rumors that the McMahon’s will be available on SmackDown to address the new beginning of WWE under TKO Group. However there is no official information on their appearance yet.
