Will Seth Rollins be forced to retire due to his back injury?

Seth Rollins is currently in a feud with Shinsuke Nakamura and is said to defend his World Heavyweight Championship at Payback. The feud began when Nakamura turned on Rollins after the Six Man Tag Team Match against The Judgment Day. The following week on WWE Raw, Nakamura explained his action and challenged Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at Payback, which Rollins accepted. Nakamura whispered something in Rollins' ear, which made him go stunned.
Nakamura opened that in a backstage segment in which he said, "I know your back" referencing Rollins' back injury and teased that he will target that to win the championship. On the final episode of Raw before Payback, Rollins accepted that he has been dealing with significant back injury for years.
Seth Rollins' on his back injury
Seth Rollins in a backstage interview said,
‘Well the truth is, it’s not something I really like to talk about publicly. But if we’re being completely open here, I do have two fractures in my lumbar spine. I have been living with that injury for over four years and it doesn’t get better by itself. As a matter of fact, it gets worse, and the truth, I dunno what the end game is. I dunno how much longer I’m gonna be able to do this at the level I’m currently running at.’
Although his injuries are used for storyline purposes, Rollins opened up on his injuries beyond wrestling in Logan Paul's Impaulsive Podcast.
Rollins said on Impaulsive,
“My knee has been bugging me since before WrestleMania [39], I was having an issue with that. My neck is acting up. My lower back has been on me since 2019, probably I should get some surgery on that, but I'm trying to just do whatever I can to make sure I don’t need it because I have a couple of stress fractures back there.”
It is clear that Seth Rollins will not retire or look for surgery, as he wishes to continue what he is doing now. From KhelNow, we wish the World Heavyweight Champion a speedy recovery.
