WWE Fastlane Live Results: Winners and Grades

The 2023 Fastlane is the upcoming premier live event of WWE. It is the first time Fastlane is held in the month of October and far away from WrestleMania. This year’s Fastlane is scheduled to be held live on October 7, 2023 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This is the first premium live event that is held in Indianapolis since September 2016. WWE had booked five matches for the event, including three championship matches. Here is the preview & prediction of the match card and the telecast details of this year’s Fastlane PLE.

John Cena & LA Knight vs The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa)

Jimmy Uso initiated the feud with John Cena and AJ Styles, where Solo Sikoa joined Jimmy. Solo & Jimmy kept messing with them for weeks, which made Cena and Styles ask for a match between Jimmy & Solo. Ahead of contract signing for the match, Jimmy & Solo brutalized Styles, which made him unable to compete for Fastlane. As John Cena was looking for a tag team partner to face The Bloodline, LA Knight showed up, saved John Cena and signed the contract.

This is a big match for LA Knight, as he would be teaming up with GOAT and cousin’s of another GOAT. As per speculations, Cena & Knight would win the match by pinning Jimmy Uso. This will be addressed by the returning Tribal Chief on next week’s episode of SmackDown.

WWE Women’s Championship- Triple Threat Match

IYO SKY will be defending her WWE Women’s Championship against former champions Charlotte Flair and Asuka in a Triple Threat Match. This would be a tough match as the championship is at greater risk of changing hands. However, IYO SKY is expected to retain her championship by pinning Asuka with the help of Bayley and Dakota Kai.

LWO (Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar) vs Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits- Six Man Tag Team

Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits confronted the LWO and attacked them in the past weeks. LWO got frustrated with their blind attacks and issued a challenge to Lashley, Ford & Dawkins to face them at Fastlane. Dragon Lee would be the possible third person on LWO’s side.

As per speculations, Bobby Lashley and Street Profits would win the match. The feud however will continue as Lashley will challenge Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship in the upcoming weeks.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

Damien Priest and Finn Balor of Judgment Day will defend their Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. This is the first time Cody Rhodes is challenging for the Tag Team titles since his return and the first Tag Team Championship match for Jey without Jimmy.

As per speculations, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso will win the Tag Team Championship. This title could help them appear on both the shows and continue their backstory with The Bloodline. This championship loss would create a big tension inside The Judgment Day and might result in a big change inside the stable.

World Heavyweight Championship- Last Man Standing Match

Seth “Freakin” Rollins will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing Match. They had a match before at Payback where Seth Rollins successfully defended his championship. However after the match Nakamura attacked Rollins, which made Rollins offer Nakamura a second shot to him.

As per speculations, the match could be held at the main event of the show and could be a showcase of brutality. Seth Rollins will retain the championship after a hard fight risking his career. After the match Damien Priest would cash-in the contract and become the World Heavyweight Championship for the very first time.
