Brock Lesnar’s WWE return date confirmed
“The Beast Incarnate” signed a one-year contract with WWE after WrestleMania 39. It was reported that Lesnar would have only five matches based on the current contract. Since WrestleMania 39, Lesnar fought three matches in WWE, and all the three were against Cody Rhodes. The first match was at Backlash in Puerto Rico, where Lesnar lost to Cody Rhodes. The second match was at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, where he won. The third match was at SummerSlam in Detroit, where Cody won.
With three out of five matches already done in 2023, Lesnar took a long hiatus from WWE and was previously reported that he is done with WWE for the rest of the year and would return only on the road to WrestleMania. Now, a recent report revealed Brock Lesnar’s return date
Brock Lesnar’s WWE return
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reported that Brock Lesnar will not be back until the Royal Rumble event next year. Although Lesnar is not advertised for the event, Meltzer claimed that Lesnar will be available for the event.
“Lesnar is the one I was told who is not back until the Royal Rumble”- Dave Meltzer
Brock Lesnar still has two matches left in his current contract. However one could be in the Royal Rumble Match and other could be at WrestleMania 40. We could likely see Lesnar for a long time on television on the road to WrestleMania 40, as he had more appearances in 2023 than any other run in recent times.
Last time Brock Lesnar was seen on television was way back at SummerSlam 2023, where he wrestled “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes with absolute domination and an ultimate showcase of power and unfortunately lost. Despite the loss, Lesnar came forward and offered a handshake, and a hug as a showcase of respect, which was totally unscripted which became a talking point at that time.
