CM Punk’s reported behaviour & reception backstage at WWE Raw

CM Punk made a surprise return to WWE this Saturday at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023 after almost a decade. He officially stepped foot inside a WWE arena and made the entire wrestling industry go crazy. Punk received a great reception from the WWE Universe on Survivor Series and on Raw. Punk also said that most of them were happy backstage on his arrival and they welcomed him with hugs and kisses, except a few. At this stage a backstage report on Punk’s reception and conduct backstage was revealed.

CM Punk’s backstage Conduct

According to Wade Keller of PWTorch, the statement that Punk made on Raw was true. There were various talks backstage on the arrival of Punk about how he would behave in the locker room. But the sources said that Punk approached almost everyone backstage and the sources stated that he was “very nice”, “humble”, and “in a good mood”. One talent said that he knew that he had to be, as he had gone through a lot of bad experiences after leaving WWE in 2014 & this is the best approach for him.

One wrestler said that Punk “seemed humble”, and another said that he “seemed pretty positive all around, but we’ll see in a couple months if it sticks”. Keller wrote, “one wrestler said yes and estimated about half of wrestlers are iffy about whether this is sustainable or who he actually is.”

CM Punk’s behavior and reception was a big talking point as he had a bad exit in the company in the past and from the previous place where he was terminated. His behavior was the major reason behind the release from AEW and which made them hard to handle him and said that he was a threat to backstage officials.

However his changeover proves Triple H’s words during the Survivor Series post Press Conference, where honor said that he has changed a lot and he is a different person now.
