How Kairi Sane’s WWE return could play out? Exploring the possibilities

Kairi Sane made a surprise return at WWE Crown Jewel, during the WWE Women’s Championship match between IYO SKY and Bianca Belair. Kairi attacked Bianca Belair, while the referee was distracted and made IYO SKY retain her WWE Women’s Championship. Kairi’s return to the company has shocked not only the WWE Universe but also IYO’s ‘Damage CTRL’ team mate Bayley. Bayley had a shock reaction on Kairi Sane, well what’s the connection between Bayley and Kairi Sane?

Bayley-Kairi Sane’s past

During Kairi Sane’s first run in WWE main roster, she teamed-up with Asuka dubbed them as ‘Kabuki Warriors’ and held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. However after losing the tag team golds, when they tried to recapture the gold, Kairi Sane and Asuka became involved in a feud with Bayley and Sasha Banks. Where Sane defeated the then SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley, which made Bayley go mad on Sane and assaulted her backstage, which was her final appearance on WWE television.

How could Kairi’s return play out?

IYO SKY and Bayley always had a Tom and Jerry relationship with each other, where Bayley always hinted of turning on SKY. In the final episode before Crown Jewel, Bayley told IYO SKY to retain the championship against Bianca Belair, as she could face IYO SKY next, but IYO wasn’t aware of what she said. When Bayley appeared during IYO vs Belair’s match, the whole crowd expected Bayley to turn on SKY. However, Sane appeared and shocked everyone. At this stage, how could it turnout?

Bayley gets kicked-out of Damage CTRL

As the Japanese friend returned to have IYO’s back, and Sane already having a previous issue with Bayley, Sane with IYO and Kai could kick-out Bayley out of Damage CTRL. Leading to Bayley becoming face once again after five long years.

Kabuki Warriors 2.0

Kairi Sane and IYO SKY could possibly leave Damage CTRL and join Asuka to form Kabuki Warriors 2.0 with a trio this time. The Japanese stars could finally reunite and make a great impact in the SmackDown roster like a women’s division's LWO. Can we call it JWO (Japanese World Order).

IYO SKY vs Kairi Sane

Kairi Sane could likely turn on IYO SKY and result in a feud between each other for the WWE Women’s Championship, most probably at WrestleMania 40, which could be a box office breaking match. This could only happen if either SKY or Sane turn back on each other. IYO SKY could possibly remain with Bayley and Sane would stand alone and wanted her away from the stable like the 2022 version of Kevin Owens-Sami Zayn, Sami Zayn-Jey Uso's early 2023 relationship.
