Scripting CM Punk’s WWE return for Survivor Series 2023

CM Punk got released from AEW after a backstage confrontation at AEW All In. He had great plans with AEW and its upcoming All Out event, which was held in Chicago, Illinois, but his release scrapped the actual plans. Punk’s return to WWE started buzzing the internet and it was rumored that Punk could return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 as it is being held in his hometown Rosemont (Chicago suburb), Illinois. There were numerous teases from either side, but no confirmation on his return was made. As Survivor Series: WarGames 2023 is just three days away, we script CM Punk’s WWE return.

Nakamura will have a strike Survivor Series

Shinsuke Nakamura will be kicking-off Survivor Series 2023, where he kept calling his mystery opponent to the ring for a fight. WWE Universe, would be going for a huge “CM Punk” chant! However no one would show up to face him. He would be going on a strike by refusing to leave the ring, unless his opponent shows up for a fight. 

Raw and SmackDown General Managers would come to the ring to address the situation and ask Nakamura to leave the ring. As Nakamura refuses, referees and WWE officials will be coming to the ring to take him out, but Nakamura will attack them. As nobody could control him, Adam Pearce would call for a bunch of securities and they would have a long struggle controlling him.

Triple H introduces CM Punk

As Nakamura couldn’t be controlled Triple H would come to the entrance ramp and ask all the securities to leave Nakamura. Triple H would say that he knew Shinsuke Nakamura’s stand and what he was talking about and he finally brought him here. A video package of a mystery man would be played, who references the devil, the snake, manipulator, puppet and who could set him free. 

As the WWE Universe goes crazy, CM Punk’s theme ‘Cult of Personality’ will be played & Michael Cole screams in the microphone as Punk shows up after nine-long years. The WWE Universe in Chicago would have a huge pop for him that might reach the sky. CM Punk will have a handshake with Triple H, and enter the ring for a fight with Shinsuke Nakamura. CM Punk would eventually win the match and address the WWE Universe for the very first time after nine long years saying how he missed them and this place.
