The November 17, 2023 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be aired live from Ford Center Evansville in Evansville, Indiana. WWE are in a rush to book matches for Survivor Series 2023 PLE, which is one week away. With that in mind, WWE could book a couple of matches for Survivor Series this week. WWE has announced a match and a segment and a number of fallouts are expected this week. Here is a detailed preview of this week’s episode of SmackDown including the match cards, spoilers, timing and telecast details.
Match Cards & Predictions
LA Knight vs Jimmy Uso
LA Knight had a match against Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel, where Jimmy Uso cost Knight’s championship opportunity. Last week on SmackDown, Knight challenged Jimmy Uso for a match, which Jimmy accepted later. LA Knight and Jimmy Uso will go one-on-one against each other in the main event of SmackDown.
As per speculations, the match could end in a no contest due to the involvement of Solo Sikoa, who could join hands with Jimmy Uso and attack LA Knight. AJ Style may return to save him or LA Knight would take on both and challenge Solo Sikoa for a singles match at Survivor Series.
Solo Sikoa returns
Solo Sikoa with Paul Heyman will be on SmackDown this week. This is the first appearance of Solo Sikoa after assaulting John Cena at Crown Jewel. Paul Heyman will recall what happened on Crown Jewel between Solo and Cena and what could happen to anyone who crosses the Bloodline. They will be interrupted by LA Knight, who might challenge Solo Sikoa for a match at Survivor Series.
Austin Theory & Grayson Waller Segment
Austin Theory and Grayson Waller will be on a segment this week, who could mock Kevin Owens’ suspension after he attacked them. SmackDown General Manager would address them and would likely book a match between Kevin Owens and Austin Theory at Survivor Series in Chicago, Illinois
Women’s War Games Match build up
Last week on SmackDown, Kairi Sane and Asuka joined Damage CTRL and the trio has now expanded to a five member crew. The Damage CTRL with the numbers advantage assaulted Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair on the main event of SmackDown last week. This week the brawl will likely continue with Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair bringing some talents with them. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis will be appearing with securities and referees to stop the brawl and would announce the War Games Match between them.
WWE SmackDown Telecast Details
WWE SmackDown is telecasted on Saturday Morning at 5.30 AM on Sony Sports 1 and Sony Sports 1 HD. WWE premium users can stream the show on the WWE Network. Online platforms such as Sony Liv, Jio TV, and Airtel TV provide space to watch the action. Friday Night SmackDown is also telecasted exclusively on Hindi Commentary on Sony Sports 3.
