WWE Superstars who might not be happy with Logan Paul winning US Championship

Logan Paul has been in WWE since 2021 and occasionally wrestled for some important pay-per-views and delivered some great matches inside the squared circle. Earlier this year Logan signed a contract with WWE and has been appearing in the wrestling arena so often. 

The social media star recently challenged Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship at Crown Jewel 2023 and had a monumental victory on the grand occasion to become the United States Champion. He is one of the few celebrities who could win a championship title in pro-wrestling. 

Although his finish to the match was controversial, his efforts in the ring was appreciated by many WWE veterans and stars. The Maverick has been appreciated by many, however some WWE stars might not be happy with Logan Paul being the United States Champion. We have listed four of those and here is why. 

Carlito

On the most recent episode of SmackDown, Rey Mysterio accused Logan Paul of stealing the United States with a cheap shot. Carlito interrupted Ray and said that nobody is happier seeing Rey Mysterio as the United States Champion than him. However he told Rey not to blame Logan Paul, but to blame Santos Escobar, who left the brass knuckles for Logan to use. It is clear that Carlito is not happy of Rey Mysterio not being the United States Champion and the person behind the title change (Santos Escobar & Logan Paul).

Ricochet

Logan Paul and Ricochet have unfinished business between them. They had a match at SummerSlam, where Logan Paul defeated Ricochet in the same way as he defeated Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship. Logan Paul and Ricochet also had an issue before Crown Jewel on Raw, where Logan and Dom tried to tease Ricochet’s fiance & ring announcer Samantha Irwin, where Ricochet saved her and attacked Dom and Logan. Ricochet might not be the happy person to see Logan as a Champion in WWE.

Sheamus

Sheamus in an interview earlier this year with The Daily Star, spoke about his frustrations with the creative and bookings. The Celtic Warrior said that the company would book him every SmackDown for a few killer segments, but would ignore him when it comes to pay-per-views and stick to the part timers, which "stings a little bit" for him. Since Logan being a part timer and given a straight push to hold gold in WWE, and Sheamus who has been consistently wrestling for the company week after week didn’t get a championship win in recent times, he might be clearly obsessed with a part timer being a champion in WWE.

Solo Sikoa

In an interview with Sportskeeda in 2022, Solo Sikoa spoke about his championship dreams and the opponents he would like to face to become the champ. In which Solo said, “I really would like a one-on-one match with Rey Mysterio. That would be cool, Maybe Seth Rollins down the road, but Rey Mysterio is at the top of my priority list”. As Rey Mysterio lost the title to Logan Paul and it is not sure when or whether Rey will hold a title in WWE, Solo Sikoa could be sad for not being able to fulfil the dream and might not be happy with Logan Paul taking the championship from Rey Mysterio’s waist.
