Unexpected things that can happen at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2023
The 2023 Survivor Series: WarGames is the upcoming premium live event of WWE, which is held on November 25, 2023 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. This is the 37th edition of the annual Survivor Series and is the second event featuring the WarGames tagline. WWE has confirmed five matches for the show including two WarGames matches and two championship matches. With less than a few days for Survivor Series PLE, here we predict some of the unexpected things that could happen at the event.
CM Punk’s return
CM Punk’s WWE return rumors are blasting the internet among wrestling fans and journalists ahead of Survivor Series, however there isn’t any official information or backstage reports on his return. However, Punk might silently return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023, similar to how Cody Rhodes returned at Wrestlemania 38. He might be the one who Shinsuke Nakamura is talking about and would confront him and have an impromptu match.
Miz dethroning Gunther
Gunther has been one of the toughest wrestlers and is the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time. Gunther will be defending the championship on the line against one of the greatest Intercontinental Champion The Miz at Survivor Series 2023. Where Miz might dethrone Gunther and become the 9-time Intercontinental Champion, proving him why he is the greatest Intercontinental Champion of the company.
Money in the Bank cash-in
After the WarGames match, with torn flesh, blood and broken weapons all around the stage, Damien Priest might cash-in his Money in the Bank contract on the already hurt Seth Rollins and become the New World Heavyweight Champion, with the help of Judgment Day members and Drew McIntyre.
Randy Orton RKO’s Jey Uso
As Randy Orton’s return was announced, Jey Uso had a scared face thinking about the past rivalry with him, and how he got injured. Randy Orton might work together with Jey in the Wargames match, but would turn on him by delivering an RKO towards the end or after the match is likely possible.
Jade Cargill debuts at Survivor Series
Ever Since the Women’s WarGames match was teased, Shotzi in the team of Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch is found odd. Shotzi might become a prey for Damage CTRL before their WarGames match, which could make her unable to compete.
Jade Cargill might take the spot of Shotzi and enter the cage teaming up with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and bianca Belair to face Bayley, IYO SKY, Asuka and Kairi Sane. This move could possibly be the best way to debut the hottest signings of WWE, by placing her right away among some of the greatest women’s wrestlers.
Santos Escobar brings new teammates
Santos Escobar left LWO after turning his back on Rey Mysterio, Carlito, Zelina Vega, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro. At Survivor Series, Escobar faces Carlito, who could possibly be backed up by Wilde and Del Toro of LWO. To counter them Escobar might bring fellow Latinos, Angel Garza and Humberto Carrilo of Los Lotharios with him. Establishing themselves as his new teammates.
