Charlotte Flair signs new contract extension with WWE

Charlotte Flair is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time with monumental records and multiple championship reigns. She got signed to WWE in 2012 and has a decade long history with the company. Flair is a 14 time Women’s World Champion and is the first and only woman to reach this historical landmark. She is the fifth women’s triple crown champion and fourth women’s grand slam champion of the company. Now an important update on her WWE contract has been revealed.
Charlotte Flair Contract Update
Fightful Select reports that “The Queen” Charlotte Flair has agreed to sign a contract extension with WWE for multiple years. With this she becomes the first WWE Superstar to sign a contract extension with WWE after the TKO merger. According to the reports, Flair’s contract extension features a huge increase in the payscale over her last contract and with this it becomes one of the highest paid contracts to a women wrestler in WWE history. The contract noted that Flair’s travel bus would also be provided, which has become pretty common.
Flair was injured two weeks ago on SmackDown while wrestling Asuka and it was reported that she has multiple injuries in her leg and is heading to a major surgery. It is also said that she would not be stepping foot inside the wrestling ring for at least 9 months unless completely being recovered. It seems like Charlotte Flair could only be spotted on television by the end of 2024 or by early 2025.
Before injury, Flair was involved in a long rivalry with Damage CTRL and teaming with Bianca Belair and was constantly striving to capture the WWE Women’s Championship. We wish “The Queen” to have a speedy recovery and wish her to step foot in the wrestling ring as soon as possible.
