Drew McIntyre comments on CM Punk’s WWE in-ring return & his gear

CM Punk made his WWE in-ring return after nine-long years at Madison Square Garden on January 26th. Punk faced “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio at the event and eventually won the match. His return match had a great reception from the WWE fans who went live for the show. It seems like McIntyre was also impressed with his returning match, but not his gear as he comments on CM Punk’s match and gear on his Tik Tok.

Drew McIntyre on his TikTok account posted a video speaking about the WWE Holiday Tour Live Event which was held at Madison Square Garden. Where he spoke about CM Punk’s first match after returning against Dominik Mysterio and appreciated him, however he seems like not a fan of Punk’s gear and said that it looks “pretty stupid”. WWE posted the video of Drew on X (Twitter) with the note of battling Seth Rollins at Raw Day 1.

Drew McIntyre on his Tik Tok said,

“Drew McIntyre’s first-ever main event at The Garden. Punk’s first match in 10 years, and to be honest, you know he looked pretty good. I was watching through the curtain to see if fans were excited to see him. He looked pretty good in the ring against Dominik, who’s no slouch, but we’ll see how Punk does against a McIntyre or a Rollins. And he seems to have forgotten his gear, he was wrestling in under tights, so looked pretty stupid. But yeah, it looks like he hasn’t missed a step, to be honest.”

McIntyre continued saying that he is engaged with live tours for the rest of the week and it would end in a match against Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at Raw Day 1.
